Seaburg Shipping and Logistics Ltd provides customs clearance, freight forwarding, logistics support, GVMS processing and related services.
Quotations are based on information supplied by the Customer and may be amended where shipment details, carrier charges, customs requirements, duties, taxes or government charges change.
The Customer shall provide complete and accurate information. Seaburg may rely on information supplied by the Customer without independent verification.
Where instructed, Seaburg may act as a customs representative. The importer/exporter remains responsible for the accuracy of information supplied and any resulting duties, VAT, taxes, penalties or assessments.
The Customer is solely responsible for duties, taxes, customs assessments, inspections, storage charges, port charges, terminal handling charges, transport costs, shipping line charges, detention, demurrage and warehouse fees. Any amounts paid by Seaburg on the Customer’s behalf shall be reimbursed immediately upon demand.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seaburg’s liability shall be limited to the lesser of £500 or the fees charged for the relevant service. Seaburg shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Seaburg shall have a right of lien over any goods, documents or funds in its possession for sums due from the Customer.
Seaburg may suspend services, withhold documentation or refuse cargo release instructions where amounts remain outstanding.
Claims must be notified in writing within seven (7) days.
Seaburg shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control.
